VBR Star Adult Leagues

Welcome! VBR Star adult leagues offer 18+ aged men and women a fun and competitive environment to play. We offer seasonal Coed, Women and Men leagues throughout the year. 

 

VBR Star adult leagues are sanctioned with MDCVSA Soccer Assocation. The MDCVSA is the state-level organization for affiliated adult soccer in Virginia and D.C. We are a member of the U.S. Adult Soccer Association and the U.S. Soccer Federation, which is a member of FIFA. 

As a benefit of membership, all affiliated leagues, teams, and registered players receive insurance coverage for league play, practices, and while playing in any other USASA or USSF affiliated competitions nationwide.

 

Adult League Overview:

 

VBR Star Adult League Format: Outdoor 8v8 games include goalkeepers. 2 halves-30 minutes. Indoor 5v5 games include goalkeepers. 2 halves-25 minutes. 

League Dates: Winter Leagues typically run from December thru February, Spring Leagues typically run from April thru June and Fall Leagues typically run from August thru October. 

Game Schedules: Game schedules are released the week prior to the first game. 

Game Location: Outdoor Games will be played at Kroger Soccer Park- 2002 Highland Farms Rd. Roanoke, VA. Indoor Games will be played a Lab Sports Performance- 1824 9th St. SE Roanoke, VA

Outdoor Season Price: $75

Indoor Season Price: $65

Coed League- Winter

 

5v5 games include goalkeepers. 2 halves-25 minutes. 

Game Schedule: Sundays, Dec. 12^th, Dec. 19^th, Jan. 9^th, Jan. 16^th, Jan. 23^rd, Jan. 30^th, Feb. 6^th, Feb. 13^th

Start Times: 5:30pm-8:30pm

Location: Lab Sports Performance

Price: $65

Rules:

• Adult coed league games must play with both genders on the field at all times. Minimum 2 field players from each gender have to be on field.   
• Referees will be provided for each game. FIFA Laws of the Game will be used accordingly. 
• 2-25 minute halves. 5 minute half time. 

 

Men’s League- Winter

5v5 games include goalkeepers. 2 halves-25 minutes

Game Schedule: Sundays, Dec. 12^th, Dec. 19^th, Jan. 9^th, Jan. 16^th, Jan. 23^rd, Jan. 30^th, Feb. 6^th, Feb. 13^th

Start Times: 5:30pm-8:30pm

Location: Lab Sports Performance
