VBR Star Adult Winter League

 

Welcome to VBR Star Adult Soccer Leagues!

We offer a fun and competitive environment for men and women ages 18 and up to play soccer. Our leagues are seasonal and offer coed, women's, and men's divisions.

VBR Star Adult Soccer Leagues are sanctioned by the MDCVSA Soccer Association, the state-level organization for affiliated adult soccer in Virginia and D.C. We are also a member of the U.S. Adult Soccer Association and the U.S. Soccer Federation, which is a member of FIFA.

As a benefit of membership, all affiliated leagues, teams, and registered players receive insurance coverage for league play, practices, and while playing in any other USASA or USSF affiliated competitions nationwide.

Adult League Overview:

This is an open league, meaning if you sign up without a team. You will be placed on one at random. If we are not able to find you a spot on a team, a refund will be issued to you.

Coed League  

 

5 v 5 games include goalkeepers 

Game Schedule: January 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th | February 1st, 8th, 15th

Start Times: Wednesday 6:05 PM, 7:05 PM, 8:05 PM

Location: Lab Sports Performance

Price: $75

Rules:

• Adult coed league games must play with both genders on the field at all times. Minimum 2 field players from each gender have to be on field.   
• Referees will be provided for each game.
• FIFA Laws of the Game will used accordingly except for:
  • Punts by the goalie will not be allowed
  • Goal kicks and throws must hit the ground before passing the half-way line
  • Offsides rule will not be in affect
  • If the ball hits the outside wall, it is considered out of bounds (indirect free kick)
  • If the ball hits the roof of the facility, it is considered out of bounds (indirect free kick)
  • No slide tackling
  • If one team is up by 8 goals, the team in the lead will have to pull their goalie 
• 2 - 25 minute halves. 5 minute half time. 

 

Men’s League

Game Schedule: January 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th | February 4th, 11th, 18th

Start Times: Saturday 2:30 PM, 3:30 PM, 4:30 PM

Price: $75
